...I think I can hazard a pretty safe guess that at least fifty percent of readers have been subjected to other dogs bounding up to them and harassing their dogs. Another percentage will have had their own dogs attacked by other dogs running up to them and being aggressive. I know from the behaviour consultations that I do that far too many dogs have been made nervous or even aggressive as a result of being attacked by someone else's dog running loose and behaving like a hooligan. Dogs without a recall are an accident waiting to happen and owners who allow their dogs to run loose and cause mayhem are breaking the law...
