Everyone Deserves Freedom of Spirit
First published in December 1994 Freedom of Spirit has become recognised as a publication dedicated to the future and well being of all breeds of dogs and not specifically a Border Collie publication.
Each issue includes regular features, information on the different disciplines, training and behaviour, letters and news updates, gardening, and countryside issues.
Special features have included Dogs of War, Dogs on the Titanic, Search and Rescue, Dogs in the movies, Dogs in the Services.
Regular training articles include, Training the Natural Way, Happy Recall, Lead Walking, Understanding Aggression, Canine Good Manners, Behavioural problems

My Special Day
Last Christmas my son and daughter presented me with a gift that for a long time had been a dream. Not only did they adopt a wolf for me but I had a pass to go and see him. My passion for wolves is lifelong, not because of any mystery or fad but because they are the epitome of all things dog. I have always said that if you can find the key that allows you to access the mind of a Border Collie then you have a pretty good idea how the mind of other breeds work, but to study wolves and to understand them allows so much more freedom inside the mind of our modern dogs....
