First published in December 1994 Freedom of Spirit has become recognised as a publication dedicated to the future and well being of all breeds of dogs and not specifically a Border Collie publication. Each issue includes regular features, information on the different disciplines, training and behaviour, letters and news updates, gardening, and countryside issues. Special features have included Dogs of War, Dogs on the Titanic, Search and Rescue, Dogs in the movies, Dogs in the Services.
